Rules of operation

At a time when Europe and the world in general are experiencing profound changes, it seems more than important to celebrate what is the foundation of European integration. Monday, May 9, we have, indeed, celebrated the Europe Day, which commemorates the Schuman Declaration.

May 21 is World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.

Because a drawing, a picture is worth a thousand words...

Please find below the rules of operation of "Your drawing of peace" organised by the SFE:

THIS CONTEST WILL TAKE PLACE:

  • From 13 May 2016 to June 6, 2016 at 17:00

IT IS OPENED TO:

  • All children belonging to the following age ranges:

-Less than 7 years old

-From 7 to 10 years old

-From 11 to 17 years old

  • Adults (18 to 99 years)

THE PRIZES:

There wiil be 3 winners for each age range

-1st prize: A family box containing 5 cinema tickets

-2nd prize: A 50€ gift voucher for a toy store or a bookstore

-3rd prize: A 25€ gift voucher for a toy store or a bookstore

The drawings will make the front page of our new Panoptque and will also appear on one of our leaflets.

- We will ask you subsequently if you agree that we publish your name and first name in the event that we release an article about the contest.

DRAWINGS:

  • Size of the drawing:

The drawing must be done on an A3 or A4 paper. Any other size will not be taken into account by the jury. 

  • Technical information: The drawing can be done with pencils, felt pens, pastels, watercolour  and/or with collage (It is however forbidden to print an already existing picture or drawing to make the collage, such picture/drawing would not be taken into account by the jury)
  • Sending/receiving: You can send your child(ren)'s creations by internal post or by post to our secretariat at the following address.

  • We kindly remind you that our secretariat is not bound to notify you when the drawing has arrived in our offices.
  • The SFE cannot be held responsible in case of theft, loss or delay during the transfer of the drawings.
  • Jury:

The jury is made up of members of the SFE Executive Committee. The children of the jury members are not authorized to participate to this contest. The jury's decision concerning the 12 winners (3 for each age range) is final.

  • Family:

If a family has several children, the family is allowed to send several drawings (one per child). However, in case of victory, EACH family will receive ONE PRIZE.

  • The winners:

The winners will be contacted following the deliberations of the jury.

  • If you would like to take back a drawing please notify us by email or by phone.
